Proctor Academy Varsity Lacrosse Head Coach 2022-2024

Assumption Lacrosse 2020

PLAYING EXPERIENCE

I played for Granite State Elite's 2016 team and went on to play Division 2 lacrosse at Assumption University. I was a starting midfielder my freshman, sophomore, and junior year. Unfortunately, my senior season was canceled due to COVID-19. When I graduated in 2020, I attended graduate school remotely and began to offer private training.

COACHING/TRAINING EXPERIENCE

During the summer of 2021, I trained around 60 players a week at a few locations around the state, including Merrimack, Milford, Concord, and the Seacoast. That summer, I also accepted a job at Proctor Academy. I am currently a teacher in the Math Department and their Head Varsity Girls Lacrosse Coach. The spring 2022 season was my first with the Hornets and we ended up in 5th place in a competitive Lakes Region League. In the summer of 2022, I added a new training location: Proctor Academy. This past summer (2023) was absolutely amazing. I worked with more players than ever before (over 115!) and expanded training into MA, with a location in Acton. The 2023/2024 school year was the first that I was able to offer training year round while working as a teacher and coach at Proctor Academy. The 2024 season was my 3rd with the Hornets. We were able to build on our success from last season and earned 3rd place in the competitive Lakes Region. We played in a semi-final game for the first time in over a decade. Following the season, I made the difficult decision to leave Proctor in order to focus on an expand training. The 2024 summer will be the biggest and best yet! I am incredibly grateful for the opportunity to share my love of the game with the next generation.

About Training

I have experience coaching both middle and high school teams with GSE and have privately trained players ranging from 4th grade through college. Speed, agility, technique, and confidence are always at the forefront of training, regardless of a player's age. Each player/group has an individualized plan to help them reach their specific and positional goals. I consistently use college film as inspiration for drills and collaborate with coaches around the country to deliver the best training experience possible. In addition, we focus on injury prevention, safe body movements, footwork and spatial awareness in an effort to keep athletes healthy and at the top of their game.

In each session, players will be pushed out of their comfort zone, as this is an essential part of growth. Over the weeks, new skills will be introduced. Once a player has mastered a skill, I will combine it with something new. By doing so, their focus shifts to the new skill, and the previously learned skill becomes muscle memory. Once players can perform skills they have learned, without consciously thinking about it, it translates right into their gameplay!
